In this session, Andrew White, who was in London, having established The Institute of Religious Tolerance in Iraq, only the week before, reflected on the role of biblical narrative in today's places of conflict in the Middle East. He drew on his own extensive study of the Bible, which included a time at the Karliner Yeshiva in Me'ir Shearim. He also brought home the importance of the Bible during times of crises and focused particularly on the stories of the exiles in Babylon as an inspiration for his work in Iraq.
