Elliot Jager is a Jerusalem-based freelance journalist. He is a former editorial page editor at The Jerusalem Post, founding managing editor of Jewish Ideas Daily (now Mosaic), and until recently a daily contributor to Newsmax. He holds a Ph.D in political science from New York University.
