Whitechapel in 50 Buildings

3 pm, Sunday, March 5, The Horsfall Room

Join photographer and educator Louis Berk and prize-winning London tour guide and author Rachel Kolsky as they bring you their favourite architectural treasures in Whitechapel  from social housing to contemporary steel and glass, from modest to majestic. Find out how Louis and Rachel made their choices, how Louis managed to take his fabulous photos and hear Rachel's enthusiastic and entertaining anecdotes of the East End past and present.

Starlings

4.30 pm Sunday, March 5, The Horsfall Room

Hear author Miranda Gold talk about her extraordinary first novel Starlings with Katy Guest, editor of Unbound Books. Starlings captures a family unravelling as the unspeakable finds a voice, and is by turns sad, hopeful, and deeply compelling. It explores inherited trauma, how the impact of untold stories ricochets down the years. Miranda took the Soho Theatre Course for young writers, where her play, Lucky Deck, was selected for development and performance.
