Executive and Creative Director
Claudia Rubenstein
Claudia has been with the Jewish Literary Foundation for six years. With a background in arts programming, her projects included history and current affairs events at the London Jewish Cultural Centre, and co-directing the 2015 Hampstead & Highgate Literary Festival. Claudia is also a historian and author, and has written for The Spectator, the TLS and other publications. She also writes historical non-fiction; her most recent book is a biography of Henry II.
Director of Production and Projects
Sarah Fairbairn
Sarah has been at the Jewish Literary Foundation, where she directs the production of the festival and other projects, since 2012. Previously an editorial manager at Ian Fleming Publications for four years, before spending eight months cycling solo through Europe. Sarah has served three times as a judge for the Crime Writers Association Steel Dagger award, has mentored students at Birkbeck University and writes book reviews and arts and culture pieces for the Waltham Forest Echo.
Programmes Coordinator
Sarah Gluckstein
Sarah joined the Jewish Literary Foundation in 2018 as festival coordinator. She has worked in the third sector for nearly 20 years, including 12 years at the London Jewish Cultural Centre where she organised fund raising events and tours. Sarah was part of the team that established the Hampstead & Highgate Literary Festival.
