Jewish London

Rachel Kolsky

Rachel Kolsky joined us for the launch of Jewish London, throughout the session she delved into literature and films featuring sites, past and present, of Jewish London. Rachel co-wrote 'Jewish London' a new comprehensive guidebook which focuses on the heritage and culture of London’s historic and current Jewish community, including listings of places to eat, shop, stay and pray. This presentation included a screening of 'The Tenth Man', a delightful short, filmed on location in the East End.

Rachel Kolsky is a prize-winning Blue Badge Guide, who, for over ten years has been leading guided walks and visits in all areas of London, particularly those with a Jewish theme. She established www.golondontours.com to encourage London residents and visitors to discover the human stories behind London's streets and buildings.
