How to Make Love to your Mother-in-Law

Man Booker Prize-winning author Howard Jacobson returned to the festival to discuss his latest novel, Zoo Times and have a frank and funny discussion about love - love of literature, laughter and women (particularly mothers-in-law). 

Howard Jacobson is a celebrated novelist, broadcaster, journalist and literary scholar. His books include Kalooki Nights, The Mighty Waltzer and the Man Booker Prize winner The Finkler Question.

Rodge Glass is Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at Edge Hill University, Lancashire. He is author of the Somerset Maugham Award-winning Alasdair Gray: A Secretary’s Biography and novels including No Fireworks, Hope for Newborns and Bring Me the Head of Ryan Giggs.
