My Name's Horowitz…Anthony Horowitz

Anthony Horowitz

Anthony Horowitz has carved out a name as one of the most popular novelists for young people in the UK, in particular with his creation of a teenage James Bond-like character called Alex Rider. In this session for 9 year olds and upwards, he revealed the secrets and the real-life sources of his most popular characters.

Anthony Horowitz is a novelist and a prolific writer for television, film and theatre. He created the series Foyle's War and Midsomer Murders for television and has worked on Agatha Christie's Poirot, Crime Traveller and Murder Most Horrid. He is the author of the hugely popular teenage novels Stormbreaker and Point Blanc and has written a forthcoming full-scale musical based on the work of Dr Seuss.

This session was held in conjunction with the London Borough of Camden.
