Tea Time Stories: Zvi Jagendorf 'Strudelbakers 1951'

Oliver Meek

A wonderfully funny and poignant portrait of a refugee couple making strudel as they argue about their life in 1950s London, as seen through the eyes of their young nephew.

Oliver Meek's theatre work includes two plays at the Mill at Sonning in Berkshire; Wife Begins at Forty and Who Killed Santa Claus? And two plays at the Pentameters theatre in Hampstead; Gorky’s The Lower Depths and The Wildes of Essex. Television includes Gentleman’s Relish for the BBC and Keen Eddie for Fox in the US.
