Michael Morpurgo

Michael Morpurgo
Paolo Levi

The former children’s laureate presented the awards for the PRIMARY SCHOOLS POETRY PRIZE and the winners read their poems on “Colours”.

Michael then introduced us to Paolo Levi, a legendary violinist who has always refused to play and talk about Mozart until one day he decides to tell his story to a young journalist. This wonderful tale was discovered as we were taken on an amazing journey of a story-maker extraordinaire.

Michael Morpurgo was Children’s Laureate 2003-2005, has written over one hundred books and is the winner of many awards. Above all he is an amazing story teller who will make the most reluctant reader passionate about books.
