Workshop: Story by Bedtime

Shaun Levin

This practical afternoon workshop got our JBW audience writing a bedtime story to read to their loved ones. They had the chance to explore some of the elements of a good bedtime story: drama, tension, adventure, goodies, baddies, and a happy end, and learnt how to tell a story that will put someone to sleep... without boring them!

Shaun Levin’s short stories appear in anthologies as diverse as Modern South African Short StoriesBoyfriends from Hell, and The Slow Mirror: New Fiction by Jewish Writers. He is Editor of the literary and arts journal, Chroma
