A Question of Age

Jane Miller
Cari Rosen
Ursula Owen

Mid-life mum Cari Rosen certainly found out that age matters in more than one hilarious way. But age is not all gloom and doom, as Jane Miller, from a considerably more advanced vantage point, considers in her literate and witty exploration. They shared anecdotes, wisdom and possibly advice.

Jane Miller is Professor Emeritus of the IOE. Her books include her fascinating family memoir, Relations and her recent work, Crazy AgeThoughts on Growing Old, which received terrific reviews.

Cari Rosen was a TV producer for many years and is now a writer and media consultant. Her first book, The Secret Diary of a New Mum (Aged 431/4), emerged from a series of columns in the JC.

Ursula Owen has been an influential figure in the worlds of literature and free expression since the 1970s. A founder of Virago Press and Cultural Policy Advisor to the Labour Party, she revitalised Index on Censorship.
