Arthur Miller Biography, Part 2

Christopher Bigsby

Backed by popular demand, Christopher Bigsby returned to JBW to talk to us about Arthur Miller from 1962 – the year of Marilyn’s death – to that of the playwright’s own in 2005. He shed new light on his complexities, his politics, his growing awareness of the impact of Holocaust and the way he not only captured a changing America, but helped to change it.

Christopher Bigsby is Professor of American Studies at UEA and Director of the Arthur Miller Institute. His two volume biography of Arthur Miller is regarded as definitive.
