American philosopher Professor Steven Gimbel discusses his highly accessible and absorbing biography Einstein: His Space and Times with Robert Winston.
Steven Gimbel is Professor of Philosophy at Gettysburg College. His latest two books are Einstein: His Space and Times andEinstein\'s Jewish Science: Physics at the Intersection of Politics and Religion, examining the ways in which Einstein\'s Jewish heritage interacted with his science, politics and life.
Robert Winston is Professor of Science and Society and Professor Emeritus of Fertility Studies at Imperial College and is a member of the House of Lords. Among his many other roles, he is Chancellor of Sheffield Hallam University, Chairman of the governing body of the Royal College of Music and Chairman of the Genesis Research Trust.
