Internationally renowned artist Mindy Weisel joins us to discuss her candid and compelling memoir After, a lifelong search for beauty that began with her birth in the Bergen-Belsen Displaced Person’s Camp to Auschwitz survivor parents. It follows her struggle to understand the black hole she was born into and a career which has seen her elected into the Smithsonian Archives of American Artists and her work permanently displayed at the Israel Museum, the National Museum of American Art, Oxford University and the US Embassy in Berlin.
