Gerald Jacobs is literary editor of The Jewish Chronicle. He has contributed to most major UK publications, including The Timesand the FT. He is the author of the first authorised biography of Judi Dench and the bestselling Sacred Games.

Rabbi Julia Neuberger


Rabbi Baroness Julia Neuberger DBE is Senior Rabbi of West London Synagogue, a cross bench Peer in the House of Lords, former CEO of the King’s Fund, and a founding Trustee of the Walter and Liesel Schwab Charitable trust, set up in memory of her parents. She is a Trustee of the Rayne Foundation, Trustee of the Van Leer Group Foundation, Chair of the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute and of Independent Age. She chaired the Review of the Liverpool Care Pathway for Dying Patients in 2013 and was also Vice Chair, Mental Health Act Independent Review 2017-2018. She is Chair of University College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and will also become Chair of The Whittington Hospital NHS Trust on 1 April 2020. Her latest book on Antisemitism (Orion Books) was published in May 2019.
