This was a unique opportunity to meet with award-winning writer Etgar Keret who read some stories about writing (some yet unpublished) and spoke about the creative process. This was followed by a serious discussion about story writing.

Francine Stock


Francine Stock is a broadcaster, critic and writer who has fronted a range of arts and current affairs programmes for BBC Television and Radio including Newsnight and Front Row. Since 2004, she’s presented The Film Programme. Her published work includes novels, short stories, film criticism and a social history of cinema, In Glorious Technicolor. She’s been guest artistic director of the From Page to Screen festival and is a patron of Borderlines Film Festival.

Etgar Keret

Etgar Keret is one of the leading voices in Israeli literature and cinema, his short stories, novellas and graphic novels translated in twenty-six languages. His film Jellyfish won the Camera d\'Or at the Cannes Festival. Keret teaches in Ben Gurion University’s Hebrew Literature department.
