It was a cabaret fusion of music, visuals and a selection of live literary performances from some of JBWs most exciting talent including Idit Eshel, Etgar Keret, Sophie Hannah and it featured music from a mystery.

Jason Solomons


Jason Solomons is one of the UK’s best-known presenters and film critics. He hosts the popular Seen Any Good Films Lately? podcast, has his own music and culture show on Totally Wired Radio, and reviews films for LBC radio and BBC arts show Front Row. Jason is film correspondent for The New European and UK critic for TheWrap.com. On TV, he covers the BAFTAs and the Oscars for BBC News and is a regular commentator on Sky News and ITV’s GMB. Jason curates the Cinedrome at Green Man Festival and, following best-seller Woody Allen: Film by Film, is currently finishing his latest book, Movies: A Love Story

David Maine

David Maine was born in 1963 and grew up in Connecticut. He worked in the mental health systems of Massachusetts and Arizona. He taught English in Morocco from 1995 to 1998, and has lived un Pakistan since then. He resides in Lahore with his wife, novelist Uzma Aslam Khan. With The Flood, Fallen and now The Book of Samson, he certainly takes Bible stories to a new level ...

Idit Eshel

Idit Eshel is a Jaffa based singer-songwriter and emerging star on the Israeli music scene. She has also voice coached major Israeli rock stars including Shoteh Hanevoa. Her self-titled debut album was released in 2004.

Sophie Hannah
