Kinky Friedman

Renowned Texan Jew, Kinky Friedman, came to fame as the leader of the outrageous country and western band, The Texas Jewboys. A genuine cult character, he is the author of a best-selling series of detective stories, featuring himself as a wise-cracking, cigar-smoking, Greenwich Village-living, cat-loving sleuth. He lives in a green trailer in the South Texas Hills with two dogs, two cats and one armadillo.
