Claudie Blakley studied at Central School of Speech and Drama and is best-known for her performances in Cranford (2007-09) and Lark Rise To Candleford (2008-11) as the much-loved Emma Timmins. She also appeared in recent highly acclaimed stage productions of Chimerica and Consent in London's West End.
