Menachem Kaiser

Menachem Kaiser holds an MFA in creative writing from the University of Michigan and was a Fulbright Fellow to Lithuania. His writing has appeared in The New YorkerThe Wall Street JournalThe AtlanticNew York, and elsewhere. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.
In 2015 Menachem Kaiser discovered that the grandfather he had never met had tried for 30 years to reclaim an apartment building in Sosnowiec that had belonged to his family prior to World War Two.
