Rupert Swyer

Rupert Swyer is an independent translator based in Paris. His translations include the works of notable French philosophers, sociologists, and historians. Was translator for the French Presidential diplomatic unit, attending G7/G8 summits 1989-2003 and accompanying the French President and Prime Minister on official visits. One-time Secretary-General of the Société Française des Traducteurs, and representative of the International Federation of Translators (FIT) at UNESCO (2005-2011).
