Shani Boianjiu

Shani Boianjiu was chosen by American novelist Nicole Krauss for the National Book Foundation’s 5 under 35 Awards in 2012. Boianjiu grew up in a small town on the Lebanese border, served two years in the IDF and studied in the United States before moving back to Israel, where she now lives. She wrote the book in English.
