Jeremy Ben-Ami

Jeremy Ben-Ami is the founder and president of J Street and the author of A New Voice for Israel. During his 25-year career in government, politics and communications, Ben-Ami did a stint as President Bill Clinton’s deputy domestic policy adviser. He was one of 50 “People of the Decade” selected in 2010 by Ha’aretz and The Jerusalem Post included him in its list of the 50 Most Influential Jews in the world

The leader of America’s pro-Israel, pro-peace lobby explained to Jonathan Freedland why he felt the need to fund J-Street.
